What you learn about your store

The questions you ask over morning coffee — and the answer CommerVue gives you. Plus the practical ones: profit, how this differs from Analytics, setup and data protection.

Questions and answers

Open only what interests you.

Is my store growing?

The first card on the dashboard is not a chart but a sentence: the store is growing, steady or declining. The numbers that explain it sit right below.

  • Revenue, orders, average order value and profit with period comparison
  • A breakdown of whether order count or order value moved
  • The strength of each calendar month across your history

Overview · Revenue and profit

What sells and what is fading?

Your range keeps moving even when total revenue looks flat. Trends show what is rising and what is quietly dropping out.

  • Rising and declining products and categories, by units or revenue
  • Variant sales and the split by attribute (size, colour)
  • Frequently bought together — the basis for bundles

Products · Categories

What is not selling?

Goods that do not move are a quiet problem — your money sits in them and nothing points it out. CommerVue shows what stands still and what is running out.

  • Dead stock: on hand and long unsold
  • Sold-out products that still have demand
  • Depletion estimate in days based on the sales pace

Products · Stock

Who buys from me?

One-time buyers and loyal customers need different attention and a different budget. CommerVue tells them apart.

  • New versus returning customers and how the split develops
  • Customer value over their whole history
  • A map of the cities your orders come from

Customers · Segments

Where do orders come from?

Marketing decisions are not made on traffic but on orders and revenue. CommerVue ties those to source, medium and campaign.

  • Channel share of orders and of revenue
  • Source / medium / campaign breakdown and device type
  • The strongest days and hours of the week

Orders · Channels

What is likely to happen?

An estimate for the coming week built on ninety days of history — gently corrected by the weather forecast where your customers buy.

  • Order and revenue forecast with an estimate band
  • How you sell in rain, cold or sunshine
  • When data is thin, the correction is skipped

What should I handle today?

The “What’s happening” feed goes through the data for you and writes a sentence with a number. Not another chart to decode.

  • More than twenty kinds of insight across the whole app
  • Operational tasks: pending orders, missing cost prices
  • A notification on a new order and when something sells out

How is the whole portfolio doing?

Several stores, or a store plus a shop floor, cannot be run from two windows. CommerVue brings them together and still lets you compare them.

  • A portfolio summary and store performance side by side
  • Which store pulls revenue up and which drags it down
  • Currencies are never added up

Overview — all stores

Will I see profit, not just revenue?

Yes, as soon as the store knows its purchase prices. WooCommerce does not record them by default — when they are missing, the app says so outright and points you to where to add them instead of guessing your margin.

  • Profit and margin across the store, per product and per category
  • Revenue, orders and average order work without cost prices too
  • Every currency is counted on its own and never added up

How is this different from Google Analytics?

Analytics counts visits and sessions. CommerVue works with finished orders straight from your store’s database, so the numbers match what is actually in the shop.

  • No estimate from traffic — we count real orders and receipts
  • Your whole history is pulled in on connect, not only data from today
  • We do not measure traffic; CommerVue complements Analytics, it does not replace it

Overview · Revenue and profit

How fast can I connect my store?

A few minutes, no developer needed. You install the plugin, paste the key, and the first sync pulls your history on its own.

  • WooCommerce: a plugin and a licence key, nothing to configure by hand
  • FiskalPRO: API credentials are enough, nothing is installed on the till
  • A new order shows up within seconds over a signed webhook

What happens to my customers’ data?

We process it on your behalf as a processor, and we keep it minimal. An e-mail is stored only as a cryptographic digest; street, phone and payment details are never stored at all.

  • From an address we keep the city, region and country — not the street
  • The data processing agreement is part of signing up
  • Erasing a single customer is one action in their detail

Customers — customer detail

Real screens of the app with data from a sample store.

  • Performance overview with period comparison

  • New versus returning customers

  • Channel share of orders

  • Depletion estimate in days

Who it actually helps

Same data, different question.

  • Store owner

„I want to know whether I am growing and what drives it."

Store status, period comparison and a breakdown of whether order count or average order value moved.

  • Marketing

„I want to know what to push and where the opportunity is."

Channels and campaigns with revenue, rising products and categories, the strongest time slots and customer locations.

  • Purchasing and stock

„I want to know what to reorder and what is sitting still."

Depletion estimates in days, sold-out items with continuing demand and a dead stock list.

  • Multiple locations

„I want to see all stores together."

A portfolio summary, store comparison and each store’s share of the revenue change — without mixing currencies.

Numbers you can trust

Analytics only helps when you believe it. We would rather show nothing than a misleading number.

  • A small sample never looks like a trend. If a product sold twice, you see a low-base label, not “+2900 %”.
  • Currencies are never added up. Euros and korunas stay apart, with no hidden exchange rate.
  • Profit is calculated from your own cost prices. Without them we leave it empty rather than estimate it.
